Grant Reiff

Join The Honky Tonk at Oak + Iron in Downtown Jackson for an awesome night of music from Grant Reif. Doors at 7 p.m. with live music starting 8 p.m.

About Grant Reiff

With his sophomore album, “Growin’ Up Gravel,” singer-songwriter Grant Reiff goes back to his on-farm strong Midwestern Roots, bringing home country ballads and classic rock-inspired melodies for a record that’s sure to leave you wanting a taste of the country.

Inspired by his life growing up on a gravel road, Reiff’s powerful track “Invincible” features the true story of his father and grandfather; two hardworking, God-fearing men of the Midwest. The track “Front Porch Swingin’ Kind of Life” pays homage to Reiff’s journey from small town farm boy, to chasing dreams in Nashville, and back to the country to raise his own family the way he grew up.

Showing impressive musical diversity, Reiff’s newest efforts, seamlessly transitions from up-tempo speeding ticket songs to the love ballad he wrote for his wife for their wedding day, “A Road Without an End”, the album’s final track.

The album takes you on a journey through Reiff’s background and story of growing up flying down gravel roads. It goes the distance one chapter at a time via musical journey, taking you on a tour of this Midwestern singer/songwriter’s roots.

As for Reiff, he’s traveled his own distance to chase his musical dreams. An Indiana native, he grew up on a dairy farm and later pursued a degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University. While there, Reiff honed his vocal chops as a member of the renowned Purdue Varsity Glee Club. His glee club travels took him to the Playboy Mansion, Carnegie Hall and even to Washington D.C. for President George W. Bush’s second inauguration.

In 2010, Reiff packed up his life and moved to Nashville to record his first studio album. There, he made the most of Nashville’s vibrant nightlife, spending many nights honing his skills in the city’s legendary music clubs.

As far as musical influences go, famous piano singer-songwriters Billy Joel and Elton John, as well as Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown Band, Jason Isbell, and Ryan Adams, are among Reiff’s favorites. But he’s not ready to limit himself to just one musical genre.

“I have never and will never pigeonhole myself to one style of music in my writing,” he says.

With that mindset, “Growin’ Up Gravel” and his debut album “Eighty-Eight Reasons” are simply the first chapter in Reiff’s journey to create and define his own musical legacy.

Keegan Jacko

Join The Honky Tonk at Oak + Iron in Downtown Jackson for an awesome night of music from Keegan Jacko. Doors at 7 p.m. with live music starting 8 p.m.

About Keegan Jacko

As the landscape of country music has become increasingly diverse, Keegan Jacko has emerged as one of the new faces that is breaking the mold.  The 27-year-old performer was born in Little Current, Ontario to a Native Canadian mother and a Mexican American father.  He started his life living on a reservation as a member of the Ojibwae Indian tribe before moving to Lansing, Michigan where he spent most of his life.

Unlike a lot of artists, Keegan’s career began as a professional athlete in the world of competitive skating. By the age of 16, he held multiple sponsorships and was competing against top athletes from around the world. Sadly, a severe leg injury while performing a mega-ramp stunt forced Keegan into early retirement at just 21 years old. Little did he know this devastating injury was opening a door for his future music career.

With time to spare while nursing his leg injury at home, Keegan picked up a guitar for the first time and began teaching himself to play. It didn’t take him long to realize this was his true calling, and he began pouring all his passion and drive he once reserved for skating into writing, playing, and performing music. In less than a year, he was gigging full time and was signed to his first label deal with Day 6 Records. In 2018, he released his first single “Night Lights” which debuted on country radio.

In 2020, Keegan moved to Nashville to be closer to the country music scene.  With the music industry mostly sidelined due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he focused on writing and performing in downtown Nashville bars and Honky Tonks to limited capacity crowds.  It was in these intimate shows and Writer’s Rooms where he found his voice and discovered the kind of artist he wanted to be. After much hard work and dedication, Keegan released his first independent single “Drink About Me” earlier this year and has been working on an EP album scheduled to drop this fall.  Keegan Jacko has now become a familiar face and name in Nashville and throughout the country music scene and is currently traveling and performing at venues and festivals across the country.
